Giving a whole new meaning to gin flight, the UK's first airport-based gin distillery has opened at Gatwick. Make a beeline for the North Terminal and seek out the Nicholas Culpeper bar: the 'still' is a large copper kettle used to make its own 40% London Dry Gin on-site, comprising eight botanicals. It can produce about 13 litres per day and the end result is available to sample in a G&T or cocktail, or costs £20 for a 70cl bottle.
