London Cocktail Week brought with it a flurry of activity from the Sipsmith Lab, with gin-based creations inspired by the olden days. This is the rationale behind their Ham & Mustard Gin - harking back to London's Great Frost Fair in December 1813 were streets ground to a halt in heavy snowfall, prompting food stalls to pop up along the Thames offering hard liquor and cold meats. To capture the mood, Ham & Mustard Gin has bold flavours of burnt honey and caramel from Wiltshire ham, combined with a peppery warmth from English mustard.
