New Gin with Mexican Flavours

New San Diego craft distillery, the Old Harbour Distilling Company, has released its inaugural product - San Miguel Southwestern Gin. This London Dry gin contains locally-grown botanicals such as cilantro, coriander, lime, sage and cucumber - flavours typically found in Mexican cuisine. It is a spicy, bright and intensely herbal gin, designed to be drunk neat or in a cocktail. Working out of a 7,500 sq ft building in San Diego's East Village, the distilling team uses a hybrid column pot still to create its spirits. Bottled at 47% ABV, it is currently only available in the US for $26 for a 75cl bottle.
