St Andrews - now the home of Golf Gin

As St Andrews is a mecca for golf-lovers, it's no surprise that Eden Mill's lastest craft gin celebrates what is home town is most famous for. The team wanted to create a refreshing and interesting summer gin with layers of flavour, ideal for the season as St Andrews welcomes thousands of visitors for the Open Golf Championship. Alongside the classic gin botanicals of juniper, coriander seed, angelica and liquorice root, the team included a mix of lemongrass, lime peel, red mustard, chamomile and rhubarb root. What's more, Golf Gin is influenced by the ancient methods used by makers of golf clubs as it contains hickory wood - a botanical which gives the flavour a bit of extra spice. It comes in a traditional white ceramic bottle as part of a limited run of 10,000. It costs £30 for 50cl and is 42% ABV.
