World Drinks Awards 2015

The winners of the World Drinks Awards 2015 were announced at the Whiskies & Spirits Conference in London at the Waldorf Hilton in March. All entries were judged on taste and design by an international panel of experts over three rounds of judging. On taste, Hammer & Son's Old English Gin was voted the World's Best Gin due to its intense, clean and herbal profile. A slightly sweetened gin, it is made from a 1783 recipe with 11 botanicals distilled in the oldest pot still in England today. It is bottled in recycled champagne bottles with organic sealing and silk print, as they did back in the day when gin was sold straight from the barrel. It retails at £32 for 70cl and is 44% ABV.
