Edinburgh Gin launched Seaside Gin in June 2015 to welcome in the summer. Featuring seaweed, scurvy grass and ground ivy - all sourced locally from the Edinburgh coastline - this hand-crafted gin has a slightly sweet yet minerally flavour, reminiscent of summer at the beach. An initial 1,000 bottles have been distilled. It is recommended as an accompaniment to seafood, or part of a beach picnic or barbecue.
